The Inspiration

Client requests for the cover to have a broken bull skull with smoke, along with a space inspired background and a flower frame, with these images as the reference for inspiration.

The Concept Sketches

I come up two ideas for the client, with the left sketch going for a more artistic expressiveness, and the right image matching closer to their vision.

The Process

After the client is happy with their sketch, I proceed to digitally design it and add flower, frames, and other elements to complete it

Choosing Color Palette

After the lineart is finished, we play around with different color schemes, ultimately going with the bottom right design as it evokes a balance of warmth and coolness, reflecting life and decay.

Finished Product

After adding the finishing touches and details, it brings us to the final product, aiming to capture a hauntingly beautiful interplay of life, death, and cosmic mystery.
